Johnson will get a lot more reps with the 1's in practice. That throw to Overton is what we need. That's what we need our QB to be. Bryant can't do that. He cannot throw it accurately beyond 10 yards, and he certainly can't drop it in the bucket like Johnson did on that throw.
Cooper's deep passing was better than Bryant, but he looked to jittery at first. He didn't look ready. Later on he settled down and made some good throws. He certainly has the arm. Hopefully he can get more time with the 1's as well.

if we were running g techs option offense then yes he is the guy..but we dont run that type of offense..hes a good kid who waited his time..but fact is hes not the best qb on the team

Stidham is a beast. Still young and new to Auburn's system (although a little like Baylor's)
Like how we are getting him early in season and not in 2018 when he should be a heisman candidate. Valley will be something he's never seen.

It's def going to be different from last season they have a good QB now.
Auburn will be a better team offensively but lose a lot on Defense.

will be his downfall. That's Auburn's Spring, their QB's looked like world beaters last spring and Stidham(?) has never played against a real D,they don't have them in the BIG12.

I'm not a "rah, rah" guy, but it just seems like our defensive line next year is going to be in the backfield constantly.
Now, Auburn running backs came into their own as the season progressed last year and they are all back. That actually to me is more worrisome. Hope Kendall, Tre, Shaq Smith, Dorian, etc. are ready to hit some backs in that game. We're going to need them to.

We have our work cut out for us every week. On any given day...... I think we will be in the playoff again. I think it will be another close game with Bama again in the final.
