There is more negativity on this board than anything. With MBB winning, now the naysayers are on baseball. It is horrid. We have a new coach, give him time to get his own team..

Yes, there was a lot of chatter in the middle of basketball season about how certain fans could not wait for baseball season to begin .

Now the talk is 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

I think people knew we had to give him time but I don't think anyone knew it was quite this bad. I think they thought between the new pitching coach and some of the guys he brought in we might be better off than we thought but certainly not worse off at this point.

The other thing is that he came in with such a positive attitude and seemingly high expectations himself that it raised everyone else's expectations as well.
