Atlanta Dining

Headed to Atlanta with the family this weekend and was wondering what are some good spots to eat at? We are thinking about eating at The Varsity for lunch then The Cheesecake Factory for dinner but was wondering what kind of experiences(good ones, of course) you guys have had while visiting ATL.

Not terribly familiar with the Atlanta area, but there's almost certainly better places around than Cheesecake Factory.

you have to go to Fox Bros. BBQ - one of the best cue spots in ATL. Another great restaurant not too far away on Krog Street is Rathbun's. Fantastic.
A lot of options in ATL for sure...those are three of my favorites.
I will say that The Varsity is a classic and anytime you're in ATL you should stop there.

Has a fantastic breakfast/brunch everyday, and there's a few locations in Atlanta. Their blueberry 'crunchcakes' might be the best pancakes I've ever had.

Last time I spent any time in Atlanta we had dinner at the Atlanta Fish Market in Buckhead, little pricey but we'll worth it, best King Crab Legs I ever had.

When I'm in Atlanta, I always try to get to Ted's Montana Grill. Love the bison ribeye there!

You said family. Lots of mention about the Vortex, which is good. But you have to be 21 or older to go there.
