Since I was busy making birdies, did not catch any of the draft. In looking through some picks, looks like all the teams I "follow" (I don't really have a pro team) drafted like absolute dinkhole.
dubya tee eff were the Falcons thinking? Penix, then Ruke? Happy for Ruke going early 2nd round, but that's a reach IMO.
Titans were pretty meh. Harbaugh taking Alt threw em into a tizzy. I'll be interested to hear the local radio guys break it down, but I 'spect disappointment.
Don't love anyone the Jags got to help TLaw. Could've used some more OL, but maybe I'm misremembering...
Pats, Saints, Eagles and Steelers all had a good draft. And I hate all of them.
So pissed Trotter went to Philly.

was the fact that Blackmon Huckabee Jr. didn't get drafted. I'm pretty sure he was the top National Anthem Singer on Mel Kiper's board and it sounds like he didn't even get a sniff from any team.

I think I'm mostly happy with the Raiders draft.

I think a lot of the sports talk people are so used to the Raiders really screwing up the first round that they don't exactly know how to react. Bowers wasn't exactly what they needed, but you can't tell me that guy doesn't make any team he is on better.
They were kinds stuck with all of the QBs going off before they picked. I think end the end not moving up for any of them will be the best move.

He was working TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, GA, this weekend for SiriusXM. He and the crew got done with the round, hit the bar at the hotel for the first round of the draft.
All was good until the Penix pick hit.
"We all figured there would be a trade coming up where Penix would go to someone for their mid-20's pick and a haul. Never came. Then we figured there would be a trade announced overnight with a bunch of futures picks. Never came.
"I have never seen a single pick in the history of the draft so completely unify a fanbase to think it was the worst pick ever. Every Falcons fan we met over the entire weekend was pissed off."
I like Bob. Good radio talking head, does Giants color commentary for their games. I would think that Atlanta fans feel right now the way Giants fans did when they reached for Daniel Jones at #6 overall. But with more potential upside.
