who happen to also be more affluent.
As a Lutheran, and previously as a Methodist, I've ALWAYS followed the message, and not the messenger. You can have some truly evil people with a very good message. Likewise, you can have some very good people with very bad messages. People are people. The message is what lives on beyond the people who preach it.
I disagree with him on most of the 16 things you mentioned. That doesn't mean his message is bad. It could be, or it could be good. How you live your life is what matters. Not who you like, dislike, believe, or disbelieve. That's the beauty of the Bible. Humans are much less beautiful as they try to hijack the message for benefit.
For example, this guy probably disagrees with most of the points you posted as well, as do I, and you. But I don't follow this guy's message, and I think he's evil personally hitchhiking and enriching himself on a good message. Jim Baker and PTL, the same. Follow the message and not the messenger. I'd have to see a full service at the church to make any judgement really, but on his 16 points, I disagree with over half of them, and am ambivalent on others.

I don't follow directions so good.
1. All three offices? Sounds like we need some checks and balances.
2. I've been to Williams Brice Stadium so this is false.

I want an evaluation of my understanding of Christian doctrine. Perhaps the emotion of having one of my children being mislead by someone who goes against so much of what I hold as truth has upset me to the point of being a maroon.

There's a very natural human tendency to toss out the baby with the bathwater. We all know this. Someone says something you don't believe, or SINS, and we then internally discard everything else they say. When we do that, we often lose the benefit of the message for dislike of the messenger. And this is actually the sinister way evil creeps in to our lives. It enters under the guise of someone who says what we like to hear. Hence we follow their message, and by extension, THEM. You see this mostly in politics, but also in the church. People struggle to understand how German people (it's a great country) could ever have elected, and supported a man like Hitler. His message was agreeable to the people. He told Germans what they liked to hear, and what they wanted to hear, given their circumstances. And they then followed him right to the gates of ####. And by the time they realized what he was doing, it was too late for them to resist.
If you truly accept that all people are evil, then it makes it easier to follow the message and not the messenger. The messenger will fail and fall to evil, guaranteed. They're human. They will sin. They are as evil as those to whom they preach, BUT live the good life, and the messenger doesn't really matter, nor should they be idolized.
I hope this makes sense. I wouldn't worry about the doctrine of the preacher, but the results of his message.

I had to search to find a comprehensive list of things which the guy preaches to evaluate him. In doing that I failed to know anything else about him.
I was overwhelmed with emotions. My goal for my child was to get her to read the Bible. I failed.

No offense. It neither elevates, nor degrades my opinion of you, personally. I care more about how you live your life. I know some staunch southern baptists who believe the Bible word for word, who have lived awful, evil lives. I know atheists who have lived very good lives. And...... vice versa.
I can view the Bible as a guide, promoting a message and way of living that is beneficial for humanity (the results are more than clear over time). HOWEVER, I do not believe it word for word. I can factually tear it apart, and many do. BUT, the fact it states things we now know to be false, doesn't detract from the beneficial message (from God) that the book delivers that we know to be good.
Don't get lost in the same weeds that those who attack the Bible fall into. If you're at the pearly gates, and God is judging you, he will not ask if you believe every word of the bible to be factual as the only metric for entry, because if he did that, he would be letting in some very evil sinners. No, He will judge you based on how you lived your life.
True evil always rides a white horse, and enters our lives under the guise of goodness. If you're apt to follow a messenger, rather than the message, you will follow that messenger on the white horse right to ####. The road to ####, that the white horse riding messenger travels, is paved with good intentions.
Just my opinion.

My Dad was a pastor (basically his second career), and the guy on the right reminds me of one of the Deacons in his church. Dude looked like a wolf that was closing in on its prey when he smiled. Talk about Demon Deacons - he was one.
