Didn't read the article, but let's admit it the score was a lot closer than it should have been and if we continue to play not to lose football, we are gonna' lose.

Teams that score their first TD 12 minutes deep in the 4thQ

are ALWAYS the better team.

The better team always gets outgained by about 200 yards.

The team is so good and deep at QB that 4 of them are randomly chosen to run the next play (regardless of previous play outcome).

Definition of plug and play team.

One thing my high school coach always said when he wouldn't refuse to run a multiple QB system.

"If I play more than one QB in game that means I don't have a QB".

Auburn doesn't have one. Plain and simple.

That's a sad little reminder of how bad it must suck to be an Auburn fan these days.

So Clemson had better statistics in every category except for 4th down conversion percentage but Auburn was the better team? What was that guy smoking???

We were better in the following categories:

Total Yards
Passing Yards
Rushing Yards
Yards per Completion
Yards per Rush
Completion Percentage
Third Down Conversions
Penalties
Turnovers
Time of Possession

same sort of logic as the other team that only

He said had they have won Saturday night it would have been a "program changing win " .
Wow , that from the fanboy of a team that has won a national championship and played for another in the last 5 years .
Short memory .

Both teams pi$$ed away opportunities

I wouldn't say Auburn was the better team. Clemson was the better team overall.

Defense - I'd say defensively it was a push.
Special Teams - I try not to think about it so -Push.
Offense - Edge Clemson but no rhythm (credit the Auburn D aside and from 1st game rust from all)

Let homers home. Once they settle on their QB (big if), I think we will be glad this was a week #1 game (though Auburn will say the same once Clemson gets rolling).

Yes, I'll be pulling for the Plains Tigers the rest of the year.

Yes...sometimes the best team does lose....

Sep 6, 2016, 12:01 PM

but that didn't happen Saturday in Auburn. Even though the Clemson offense had an off night, Clemson was still the better team on both sides of the ball.
