It's so refreshing to see them close out close games for once instead of the inevitable buzzer beater for the opponent (i.e. VA Tech last year).

I’m happy for the win. The only thing I question is why a top 20 team needed a late game 3 to beat one of the bottom dweller D 1 teams.

Who’s the best 3 point shooter in the acc isn’t really a good excuse

Virginia Tech is a good club with a number of close losses not to mention we were down two starters.

Well, we are missing both our starting point guard and our starting shooting guard right now. We have survived missing our top starting point guard for 7 straight games and won each game. But now, we are missing both our starting point guard and our starting shooting guard--Now, we've lost to one team we previously beat by 20 points, and barely beat another team that we also barely beat previously. We just don't have the depth to survive losing two starters from our starting five.
If we don't getting either of our starting guards back soon, every game will be a struggle--and right now in particular, we really need our starting point guard back! Our bench is just too young and too inexperienced to make up the difference. On the other hand, the entire team (starters & bench) are really trying hard, and we are seeing glimpses that a few of them may become really good.

Also, whenever this team heads to the free throw line, they usually make both shots. Free throw shooting doesn't seem to be a weakness now. As of 21Jan, we were #7 in the nation and 1st in ACC in free throw percentage. Keep it up Tigers.

This felt like a game we would lose. To me, Va Tech and Clemson are comparable teams. As Coach said both teams play excellent D and tonight both missed numerous makable shots. Nice to steal a victory. Credit to Coach BB for drawing up an excellent play and to Tyson for closing the deal!
