Saw an ad on buddybook for them. Wanted someone to detail a 20' I/O.
They quoted $350. Three hunnert fitty. Let that sink in.
I told them that's almost 3x what I pay to clean at 3,000 sqft house.
Pic of their work look nice, but it ain't coming outta my checkbook.

I'd jump on that before they start getting busy for the year. Last time I had mine done by someone else it was in the $1k range for buffing and waxing. To put it in perspective, I buffed, waxed, and detailed my interior last weekend. I probably had 6-7 hours total and 2 afternoons of my time. Buffing out the colored gel coat did take a lot of time though.

All of the rain I guess, lots of logs and debris in the water too. It's really muddy in the back of some of the creeks. I feel sure this will be my year to see a bass boat hit a log at speed.
Lake is probably about to get busy AF, everything is open now and the pontooners seemed to be trickling out yesterday. Also an FYI for those who put in at Portman, Anderson county had 2 deputies posted up right at the ramp yesterday. I assume we're about to get served and protected hard this year due to the increased traffic.

nothing about interior boat detailing and certainly don't have a horse in the race.
Does it have a little cutty cabin or any "interior" storage space ?

Anything I don't want to do, our house cleaner has a family member that can do it for a good price. Power washing, stain fence, clean roof, pickup dog poop, running garbage to dump or donations. A little cash goes a long way.
