Apparently, rich folks want high taxes.

Nov 10, 2012, 9:35 PM

I'll agree with The Clone here..let's give it to them.

I'll bet there isn't a forum of millionaires anywhere worrying what I pay in taxes.

The whole "rich vs. poor" conflict seems to....

Nov 10, 2012, 10:07 PM

..be just another area in which people can be pitted against each other, while the people who promote it sit back like the Emperor in Star Wars who was laughing while Luke and Darth Vader were slugging it out, knowing all the while the he would be the ultimate beneficiary. Just an opinion from a Star Wars fan of course...:)....

This country could use some more Star Wars fans in power.***

Murcielago's commie county (Somerset, NJ) went for Barry.

My county of Real Americans (Morris, NJ) went for Mittens.

Gov't employees can't afford the place, mostly.

We try to keep up an undesirable image so more people don't come here.

Nov 11, 2012, 11:16 PM [ in reply to Rather not say. ]

You're safe.

Not safe enough.

We've got more people per square mile than any other state, and they keep on coming. Including people on this board.

Fairfield County is very segregated economically and racially.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So that's one county.

Apparently, the rich don't care.

So its not just one county you named?

Nov 12, 2012, 9:18 AM [ in reply to Re: So that's one county. ]

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It might not be, but it surely isn't poor; $250M is filthy

Nov 12, 2012, 9:53 AM [ in reply to Re: So that's one county. ]

rich. If I had either one, over half of it (90% of the higher figure) would go to worthy human and pet charities and/or environmental improvement (after taxes of course). TIAA/CREF furnishes me with a modestly good retirement each month (I have not amassed much of a personal fortune) and we use our social security for charity and social activities. I see absolutely no reason to gripe about paying taxes for services, both local and national. It is a privilege, just as serving in the military has been in my life.

By the by, Happy Veterans Day to all and may you all receive excellent healthcare. Happy days are here again:).

250K a year is not rich? LOL

Nov 12, 2012, 11:01 AM [ in reply to Re: So that's one county. ]

Wow. I wish I was raised in your household growing up if you don't think 250K a year is rich. Where I come from, we consider that "rich". Just because you can't buy a yacht, an island or a private jet doesn't mean you aren't rich in my eyes. You can live pretty high and mighty compared to the average folk on 250K a year. I realize were just talking semantics though. Ha. Thanks, I needed a laugh.

Nov 12, 2012, 2:51 PM

He is probably just posturing (he has an enormous ego you know). If he makes that much, IMO, he doesn't deserve it. Spemds too much time on P&R, trying, unsuccesfully, to downgrade the poor and needy.
