Opting out??? He’s the only one that I expected, it’s been a weird year for him.

I am. Heading into this year, he was my favorite on defense

I was disappointed with the way he played and his decision to opt out. I always thought he was "All In" and kept looking for him to dominate. By years end, KJ, he LB's, Wiggins and Davis became my favorites. I do wish him the best of luck and hopes he has a long and healthy career in the NFL.

To me he always seemed to be that odd man out in the Clemson D-line group, almost like he was just a lone wolf or "Me" type guy. Idk, its whatever, we're really thin at DE now going into it. Bowl games are officially meaningless now unless you're in the playoff anyway.

Its pains me to say it but he's been a huge disappointment

to me.
He was all-world out of high school but really never seems to try his all. Dabo called him out several times in film study.
Maybe I am wrong. I hope he gets drafted high and has a great NFL career, but I also hope he doesn't start a bad precedent at Clemson.
It makes me appreciate KJ even more.

They have him as a top 12 pick so why another year? I hate seeing them leave but millions is millions.

Right!! KJ has always been one of my favorite players and has been a bright spot all year long. Nobody deserves what’s coming to them more then him the kid has given Clemson all he has plus more. Whoever drafts him are getting a steal!!

He opted out much of the season so why should the bowl be different? Dont think i have ever seen a top 10, 1st round make less of an impact than MM.

respect. Everything is as they say a business decision. And again, the reason being and I don't think this can be overstated, is that what he have now is no longer college football. It's professional, and the opt-outs are consistent with that model.

I anticipate him to be a better pro than college player. They will push him harder. So much talent and not a lot of stats.

Not surprised at all. When Dabo called him out for loafing earlier this year, it didn’t seem to fire him up like you would have thought it might. That said a lot about where his head was. Could you imagine how CW42 would have reacted if Dabo ever said he was loafing? Then again that just sounds absurd in general.
