Just doesn't seem to be playing with that swagger like earlier in the season. Just wanted to see if I was the only one.

Well I'm not sure unimpressed is the right word. He probably didn't have his best game Saturday but several didn't. I think he will be fine.

I'll keep an eye out. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I am suggesting more people are making plays now so it is less about just a few people. It may be that he just isn't standing out as much because the whole unit is getting involved?

No...the only thing is he's been playing several times out of position. Some of that may be on him, some of that may have been the play call and it being exploited. Hard to know. He's still been beasting.

Ok think about this for a second. He is the SS/FS they both play the same position it seems like to me since they both are great in coverage and lay the hammer on the run. Jayron and TJ both are beasting. They aren't making plays in secondary because 1. The QB rarely has time. 2. Mack and Tank are covering everything up. You can't say they aren't playing the run because go look at the tackles. Those two are always up in run support. I can't ask for a better secondary. I hope they all come back next year. That would be AMAZING, but a pipe dream.

All fair points, and I'm fine being wrong. "Unimpressed" may have been the incorrect word.
With his measurables you can't help but see potential late first / second round NFL talent and lofty (yet probably unfair) comparisons to Sean Taylor. I just can't say I've seen first / second round leap out to me on film yet. Hear's to proving me wrong in the coming weeks as I'd welcome the crow.

One of our stars can be "unimpressive" and we still have a top 5 defense and #1 ranking, even after we were supposed to be decimated by all the losses from that side of the ball last year. Maybe we just too deep.

Oddly enough, I was going to ask if he is injured based on his play lately. I notice that when someone breaks open, he stops running. HE is the ONLY ONE that seemed to have the ability to run those fast guys down. Re-watch the 75-yard run by Cook and watch #1 just slow down. Earlier in the season he would have run Cook down. I thought he's been injured for several weeks now because his play seems to have slowed down. He's still a force, but he was previously an NFL guy playing in a college uni.
