Anybody Notice this about both Chick-fil-A Games ? ...

Haven't been on in a while so this may have been mentioned already.

Both Chick-fil-A Kickoff game broadcasts were branded "The SEC on ESPN". I would have assumed that one would be the SEC and one the ACC given that ESPN has contracts with both conferences.

Secondly, given that fact, how was the TV money split up?

Was it paid only to the individual teams in the form of their payouts?

Did it go to both conferences as part of their TV contracts?

Or, since both games were branded as SEC games did it all go to the SEC?


If the latter, that is a total crock.

Clemson received two million dollars for the game. Since this was a "Clemson" game and not an "ACC" game, all of the money went to Clemson, and not to the ACC. As a matter of info, Clemson makes about $2.4 million from a home game, so the game was a good deal for Clemson.
