Anybody have any good $2 bill stories from the Bowl game?

We took about $100 worth of $2 bills. Gave them mostly as tips. Gave some to stadium personnel who gave advice to how to get to seats, etc.
when I give one out if they give a funny look I explain that this was started to show the economic impact of the Clemson Fan base and has become a tradition since. Most people are tickled to get them.
ALLweatherfan Jr had some trouble paying for a snack at a gas station on the way back in St George. The cashier consulted his manager and the manager accepted it. I had a cashier in Jacksonville Beach look at them funny and then mark with the magic pen to see if it was real but he didn’t say anything.
I think it’s the orange paw that throws them off!

someone on a restaurant's wait staff or a cashier insisted there was no such thing as a $2.00 bill.

and the teller asked me if I owned a strip club. Before I could respond the teller next to her laughed and said "Nah, he's probably just a Clemson fan."

We bailed from the game with maybe 5 minutes left to try to beat traffic and jumped in the first cab we could find.

As he was dropping us off, I think I counted out like $50 in $2's and the driver turns around and says, "YES! I was hoping you would pay in $2's. My friends around town kept telling me about Clemson people using $2 and I had to see it with my own eyes."

Of course, I was in a state of misery during this, but still kind of a bright/funny moment.

Debit cards have killed the $2 bill hustle.

Many young people don't know what cash even looks like and can't even count change back unless the computer tells them what to give back.

Been offered a trade of $10 for one $2 bill several times. They were fascinated by the $2 story and how traveling Clemson fans embraced the idea. BTW, always stamp you $2 bllls with a Tiger Paw !

I had a cashier in Boston ask her manager if they could tale $2. Like most kids these days, she had never seen one before.

Like everyone else, I had a number of young people ask me if they are real or think I was trying to give them fake money. I had a Kentucky fan at the Music City Bowl pay me $10 for a $2 bill, which I happy gave him. After national championship game in CA, we stopped at a bar, and I paid with $2 bills. It was about closing time, and those patrons asked if they could have one. I had enough to give each person one. Then they bought a drink for me. The bar owner said he was going to frame it and hang it in the bar. That was one of the best times with lots of discussion. They couldn't believe we had fans that drive three hours to watch a game. At a Virginia Tech, we were told that they do not accept $2 in the stadium. I like to leave $2 bill as tip in the hotel room when we travel to away games. I also stamp "WheresGeorge" on the two dollar bills and register them online. It is interesting to see where they show up as people log in a hit. I had three logged when I used them in Arizona.

Not my story but I read one on Tnet where an Orlando restaurant called the cops because he was paying with twos.
