Had three really rough days, but hours of reading all the bs on tnet and watching my brads suffer a frustrating loss at home seem to have cured me.

Thanks Tnetters for your commitment to providing content.

Thanks to the bball team too. Super frustrating, but a welcome two-hour diversion nonetheless.

It's going around. I threw a warning up a while back. Per sewer samples, currently the level of infections in the US is the second highest of the entire pandemic. Luckily mostly mild. SC is currently purple on the CDC's ILI map. That's the color they added last year when the entire country went off the scale they previously used.

only lasted a few days. But it was pretty uncomfortable. 101 fever pretty much unheard of for me.

I don't recommend getting it.

I had it bad last winter.

But since nearly dying from Swine flu in 2009 my flu measuring stick is probably off kilter. Was similar to a mild flu with me. 101 fever. Insomnia. Racing heart. Sniffles. Cough. Lost smell and taste. Dizzy spells a few weeks after when standing up. Fatigue/aches.

It's the 2-3 months after you need to be careful about. Fatigue hung on a month maybe. But the milder covid I had previously ended up with unexplained sepsis and a 4-day, $120K hospital stay and a surgery. Pay attention to any infection for several months. Nurse who lanced my cyst probably saved my life. She said if you get any fever go immediately to the ER. No doctor. No doc in a box. ER ASAP.

Side note. Haven't had covid yet since last January. Haven't had the flu in 14 years now. Knock on wood.

Swine flu was a 105 fever and double pneumonia and that's the sickest I've ever been. Ever.

and you'd be dead.

I got it last January too . . . from the Duke basketball game we won to get to 6-0 in ACC play. Next fall I'll probably get a vaccine.
