Any news on acc expansion ??

It seems that it will be hard for us to leave the acc due to revenue through 2036. Then maybe only option expansion and I hope we get penn and nd !! I know wishful thinking but any status

That would be quite a step up for the Penn Quakers. I don’t think they have any scholarship players, as they are Ivy League.

Oh I agree that is unlikely.. however the ACC could attempt what the SEC with OU and Tx.
The B1G is in with Fox... stealing PennSt to the ACC would get them 100% with ESPN... ESPN may shell out a good bit of revenue to pull that off.
You show a much larger per team number to ND to PennSt... maybe you at least get in the door. Unlikely.. but hey who knows.

the league will take a wait and see/reactionary approach and do very little if anything of substance until the time to do so has long since passed.

That said, in fairness, considering the leagues annual revenue ranks last among the Power 5 conferences (thank you John Swofford), there really isn't much the ACC can do at this point other than perhaps invite teams that don't really add anything to the conference.

It's not about getting bigger. It's about getting better and frankly, the first step in doing that is Notre Dame joining as a full member in all sports which isn't likely to happen.

Hopefully it does not expands UNLESS they can make a steal from the B1G or get ND. We dont need any UCFs or Cincy.
If you can get PennSt along with ND or, at the very least, WV and OkSt.. something like that to get new markets.
But it has to be some names or it wont do anything to raise revenue.
