If so, what was it like? Would you recommend it?

Was the transfer from train station to stadium hard to do?

It's a long way from the train station to the stadium. You'd need Uber or taxi. Otherwise, train service is quite pleasant until the bathrooms get trashed.

If it's Amtrak no I wouldn't recommend it.***

Yep. You can "tailgate" on the train ride.

You stop quite a bit between Raleigh and Charlotte. There's a bus stop right outside the train station that will take you to a light rail stop. The light rail takes you directly to the stadium.

the farther away from the city you park the easier it is. the train is too packed by the time it gets to the last few stations before the city.
