Any good reason

Feb 24, 2013, 3:06 PM

why ESPN doesn't really cover NCAA baseball? I know they start picking some things up in omaha, but during the regular season, the coverage seems to be non existent.

U are right.. coverage very poor... but, if the did cover it they would only have SEC teams!! U know how that goes

Yeah, it would have nothing to do with the SEC being the best conference in baseball.

SEC isn't the best baseball conference, though

Feb 24, 2013, 3:21 PM

The Coots winning a few titles doesn't make it the best conference. ACC plays better baseball top to bottom. It's a much higher priority here.

Theres no convincing me that the SEC is the best in Baseball***

I hate it, but less eyeballs want to watch it

I'm not sure that the last few generations (mine included) really know and appreciate baseball like the ones before. It's one of those games where you really have to understand some of the strategy to appreciate it and get interested.

Unfortunately, many don't bother to learn and just complain about how much slower it is than football/bball. I think we (the last few generations) are a lot less patient and focused than our predecessors, as well.

Cheers to TigerCast, though. And I'll MLB.tv has got the right idea.

I totally agree with you there.

But ESPN even covers lacrosse.....at least give us a little College baseball....

Lack of interest...If people watched, they would air it...***

Beginning next week I believe...

there will be at least one college baseball game on the "family of networks" (mostly ESPNU) every weekend for the rest of the season. Basketball (and especially the women's tournament) keeps baseball off the air early in the season. The ACC will have a game on ESPNU every Monday starting in March sometime. The SEC is on every Thursday for like 10 straight weeks.
