Attention Brent Musburger:

I am not sure if you are a member of Tigernet or not but if you are, for future games:
It's pronounced Spencer Shuey (Shoe-eee) Not Suey (Sue-ee)
Other than that I thought you called a pretty good game. Alot better than Ed Cunningham at the Chick-Fil-A bowl.
GO TIGERS!!!

He also pronounced it that way during Gameday. I tweeted him about it during the game. He probably didn't get it until after the game.

Musburger was right, the original family pronunciation sounds like "Suey," not "Shoey." He is used to the many athletes with that name on the Penn State football team.

Brent M can say whatever he wants... he is the man... (and he is very old so cut him a break)
We owe him for that "most exciting 25 seconds" line so he is good to go.

But some always have to find something to whine about. After all the positive press Saturday, I thought the little peckers would be the only ones whining. Guess some nit pick every thing.

lightnen up y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's called constructive criticism with the intent of a little humor. No way did I say anything negative about the man. I think BM is one of the best IMO.

Musburger loves Clemson
Sep 5, 2013, 2:05 PM

I rememeber back in the Danny days how he often mentioned how he loved to come to Clemson to do games in Death Valley. I think Saturday was his first trip to Clemson to do a game in almost twenty years. I believe the whole exposer to the getting on the buses and running down the hill things was his idea. He even made comments during the game such as " I think these are some of the same people I saw back in the 80's" He does love Clemson and has done a lot for us. He is welcome back anytime. Perhaps we can whisper in his ear about Spencer's name while buying him a drink @ the ESSO.

it really is to say he was better than Ed Cunningham. That's like saying something is better than getting kicked in the nads.
