Could you image what Steele will be able to do with all that talent?

I think you could trade Jenkins for Thompson and Hall for McDaniel/Clemons, but agree with everything else.

Nobody to be honest. I feel like our LBs were pretty putrid in '09-'11 (well, with the exception of Connor in his last year).
Maybe Vic could be a joker/OLB and we could give Sapp a look at DE? Tough.

Unless we're playing GT. Honestly hate to bash the kid, but he could have been a beast and just didn't perform well in a lot of games. Jekyll and Hyde. I'd say based on experience he should be in the DC.

Hamlin/ Clemons if 2008 counts

That was one of the best safety tandems in the country. In fact, our entire secondary was incredible that year with Butler, Chancellor, Gilchrist, Maxwell, and Sensabaugh all playing. All of those guys are either in the NFL or played in the NFL at some point.

Good list, but I'd make a few changes

DE: Beasley/ Bowers would be one of the most ridiculous combos of DEs ever heard of. Bowers's size and pass rushing abilities would be a great complement to Beasley's speed rush. I'd probably throw in somebody like Ricky Sapp, too.
DT: Sounds right to me. You could throw a bunch of guys into that fourth spot (Williams, Cumbie), but Watson has played the longest at a high level. Not sure if Dorrell Scott counts, since he only played in the 2008 team.
OLB: Connor/ Christian (only because he held that position down for so long) MLB: Anthony/ Maye/ Clay (only played in 2008) OLB: Willard/ Shuey/ Steward (still remains to be seen how good he'll be, but has had a very good year so far)
CB: I'd add Chris Chancellor to this list. He was as much of a lock- down corner as we've had since Tye Hill. Alexander seems to be following in his footsteps. Sensabaugh should probably also be considered. It's kind of amazing how many good CBs we had at the end of the Bowden era/ beginning of the Swinney era
S: Hamlin and Clemons have to go in there somewhere if 2008 counts. I'd put them ahead of everybody you mentioned. DeAndre McDaniel is another guy who was probably better than all the guys you mentioned.
(These are the guys where I'm probably forgetting somebody) LT: Hairston/ L. Walker/ B. Richardson RG: McClain C: Freeman/ Auston LG: Austin/ Shatley RT: Thomas TE: Allen/ Ford/ Palmer
WR: Watkins/ Grisham WR: Hopkins/ Ford WR: Kelly/ Bryant
RB: Spiller/ Davis (2008)/ Ellington QB: Boyd/ Harper/ Watson (still a question mark after only playing 3 games)

I just wish we still had Shatley and Thomas on the OL, McDowell at RB, and Shuey at LB. Add those 4 to the current roster with Watson starting every game.

I think Alexander and Watson are the two most talented players Dabo has at those 2 positions.

Lol. One more good game and I'm sold. Martavis had all the talent in the world but it didn't translate until very late.

You can see the issue with Clemson teams

Defense: Linebacking depth and talent is questionable once you get past Anthony.
Offense: Offensive line talent is questionable...period.

LB corp has definitely been a weakness during the Dabo era, and the OL hasn't been much better. The rest of those positions have been pretty loaded though.
