All the talk about Saturdays game being a referendum on the portal

FSU had two players make the ACC player of the week from the game. Both were redshirt seniors who have been at FSU for all 5 years.

Both made plays bigger than Coleman’s catch in overtime.

Kind of Ironic.

I wonder what the outcome might’ve been if we had Coleman and they didn’t? He had more than one big catch in that game.

Didn't Coleman "commit" to FSU a few minutes after he went into the portal?

It's not like anyone else had a chance at him. The fix was already in.

I think people/media can spin it how they want. I mean if we make the kick is it a referendum against the portal. It was a good game but a tough loss. Hope tigers play as well from here out. It does feel like we are snake bitten with all the ways the ball bounces against us of late but maybe the law of averages is catching up from our championship run. Hopefully from here out we will have some bounce our way.

It was 4-5 star high school recruits who made mistakes..along with their rich coaches!

Interesting. Since 310 of FSU's 311 yards and 15 of 22 FSU starters came from the portal, you must be referring to defensive players.
