I'll admit they are heinous but some of the criticism of Adidas is ridiculous. This statement may be one of the dumber ones:
Syracuse University economics professor Boyce Watkins wrote on Your Black World : "I am offended by these shoes because there is nothing funny about the prison industrial complex, which is the most genocidal thing to happen to the black family since slavery itself"

While there are some cases of somebody being wrongly imprisoned, aren't most in there of their own doing? How is that genocide?

for $350, I could buy a LOT of shackles made of steel and feel much more comfortable about my slave-investments not running off. That same $350 from Adidas only protects one of my slave-investments, and probably not all that securely, I might add.
