Hard to get your head around this game tonight. We are third in the conference and have handily beat the wolfpack 2 times this year but are a 2 point dog.. We have some major problems such as a very weak bench. For the year they average about 10-13 points per game and that includes 6 per game for Hemingway for the season. but since coming back with decent time he only has 23 pts in 9 games. That means the best sub for pts is Middlebrooks. at 3.2. the other point is our bench gives up a large number of fouls.
When you look at these numbers your starting 5 has to put up at least 65 or NCST goes cold. Shef had a great night against ND but if he gets 5 the 0ther 4 need 60 or average 15 per. Any cold night by the starters or foul trouble we could be in trouble.

it’s hard to beat a team three times in one season when neither is way superior to the other. Second is the pressure our guys might be putting on themselves knowing that this is a “do or die” game for our NCAA chances. Third, too many Tigers are hyped and are convinced this will be a blowout. I remind them that this is how we all felt the Friday before our football game with USux this year.

I will admit that I am one of those glass is half empty types so I hope I am wrong.
