Pitt beats Tenn
Wake beats Vandy

Not really a big statement though Pitt being 3rd or 4th best in the ACC and Wake probably 5th at best.. and Tennessee is 4th or 5th at best and Vandy within the bottom two of SEC. if they both win it’s because they should have, if they lose it’s because the SEC is superior. The normal narrative that we face every year when ACC plays anyone other than Bama or Georgia

It's still way too early in the season to know how good teams are/aren't. For example, WVU might turn out to be total trash which would take all the air out of Pitt's big win.

Pitt and Tenn could both be pretty good, or they could not. Wake has been better than Vandy for years so I'd be shocked if they lost. You're right about one thing, it's a no-win media narrative for the ACC and the SEC is always overrated.

this is coot level thinking. These games are about match ups between individual teams and has nothing to do with the conference.

Tenn has a young coach who is still finding his way. Pitt

has the whiny experience of Nozzeldooshie. But, if Tennessee is ever going to turn things around, they have to start somewhere. This game is as good a place as any. I will always hate them because of Fat Phil Fulmer, but Josh Heupel had nothing to do with any of Arrogant Ar$es transgressions, so I'll give him a pass.

Tennessee hasn't fared well out of conference recently. They lost to Pitt and Purdue last year, BYU recently and even took an L to Georgia St back in 2019.

I expect Pitt to handle them but wouldn't be shocked to see Vandy beat Wake Forest.

I don’t really see it as coot level thinking. It’s just a good day any day we can beat them as they are the ones that constantly tout their #### conference.
