ACC being ACC

Clemson has one protected matchup -- Florida State. North Carolina and N.C. State have three protected matchups. Clemson-Georgia Tech annual meeting gone. ACC doesn't even hide it anymore. And for voting for the expansion Wolfpack gets an expense paid trip to California.

yes i noticed that as well, really dude nc state vs wake is a protected matchup....psssshhhh


I would ask how many acc and national titles gt and clemson have compared to state and wake but what's the point.

They would pick games like Clemson-VT and Clemson-Miami to be protected instead of BS like Wake-Duke and NCST-Wake.

No one cares nationally about Clemson- VT. Rather keep our rivalry with GT since we recruit Georgia heavily.

I want to keep GT too. I go every other year to ATL. But if you want ratings (ergo $$$ - Which is the problem with the ACC right now) Clemson-VT is a bigger draw. Especially when VT is decent.
