The details are yet to be released, but I’d bet the SEC champ and B1G champ will both get a 1st round bye. The remaining 12 teams will play with the 6 winning teams completing the ‘elite’ 8.

The B1G and the SEC will make $21M per school that makes the playoffs. The ACC $13M per school.

I don't think the 14 team playoff is yet settled. The contract with ESPN and the amout of the contract, 1.3 billion and the percentage payout to each league HAS BEEN SETTLED. The SEC and The BIG want a 16 team playoff, and ESPN also wants it. More games and more revenue for ESPN. I THINK IT EILL EVENTUALLY BE THE SAME AS THE NFL PLAYOFF. THAT IS WHAT THE TV NETWORKS WANT AND IT IS WHAT SEC AND BIG WANT AS IT WILL TRIPLE THE MOUNT THEY GET.

Everything is still up for grabs.

I just want Clemson in the SEC so we get what our brand is worth. Sanky is doing what he is supposed to do for his teams. Getting them the most of everything. The ACC commissioner is sitting on his ### sucking his thumb. Sanky and ESPN is RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING Alabama in the CFP over FSU. Having Bama in meant more viewers than FSU would have drawn.

Get ready for some of the worst beat downs in college football history. Hey guys, we cant find FOUR teams that are actually competitive with each other, so lets expand it to FOURTEEN. Smh. Oh and we'll water down the regular season while we are at it so we can completely ruin the sport. I loathe these people.
