A simple request...

Many of you that have been here several years know I live in KY and can't make nearly all the games I did. I do however try to get to one or two a year and this weekend I was hopeful of making the game vs Louisville.

Thursday afternoon I was working 2 hrs away from home when the wife called with devastating news. Our home, which we'd renovated ourselves, was on fire. Ultimately it appeared the cause was the dryer controls area but can't be sure. The result was that the things that didn't actually burn are so badly smoke-damaged as to be unusable. Thankfully noone was home at the time and everyone is safe.

Along with the loss of furniture, electronics, and other household items, our clothing is all beyond keeping, including every Clemson shirt, jacket, pants, hat, cap that I owned.

Today's game is obviously one of great importance to our title chances and to me personally, as to all of you. Given the circumstances of this week, I'd ask that those of you attending scream just a bit louder for us and help make this weekend provide a bit more cheer for our family. We sure could use the cheering up

I'm so sorry for your families loss. Fire is such a devastating thing. If there is anything me or Tiger fans in general can do to help your family please tmail or let us know. Prayers and glad everyone was safe
