who listen to Walt Deptula. Why in the blue he!! do you listen to Walt Deptula? Most of you complain how moronic he is. Well, if he is so moronic, then why waste your time by listening to him? Never heard the guy before, but he sounds like he uses the same formula sports radio host use all over America: be a complete dbag and you get higher ratings. Seriously, if you upstaters would stop listening to him, he wouldn't even have a show.

20 years ago, the only sports radio in the Upstate was Tommy Powell hosting a Wednesday afteroon show at the Ramada Inn on WCCP, which was a '70's station at the time. We've come a loooong way since then.
Walt knows more about sports than anyone I've ever met/heard. He's opinionated, for sure. However, he normally backs it up with facts and insight that few others put forward. Like him or not, he knows his stuff.
