In all seriousness Sharkgirl is all kinds of certified and has gear at the house. Hasn't used in since we moved. I keep telling her to go up to Lake Jocassee and dive but she won't listen.

they have the "graveyard" where someone put a bunch of fake skeletons in poses, playing poker etc.
back when my kiddos were getting certified, some foreign dude got killed there on the drop off, somehow miscalculated weight for his belt (which makes no sense, if he mistook lbs for kgs would be lighter), they found his body in 220 ft of water

I also say things like, "figure out how much it will cost to go and do so and so." She doesn't, I worry about the cost of stuff I want to do so we end up doing that.

The French SCUBA instructor ended up banging his wife, and they ended things pretty quickly. He was torn up for a little while, but he ended up reconnecting with a gal from HS, and she really helped him get over it, and really open himself up in the rest of his life. he really became much less uptight, and more successful as a result of the change. was really happy for them.
