Hopefully you're feeling better. Thanks for posting. She's playing the other course today. Seems to be the tougher one.
Side note Sydney Roberts family was able to go watch her win. She's such a doll.

but watching my youngest son get 28 teeth pulled yesterday and dealing with the trauma ruined me yesterday . . . All I could see was blood gurgling from his mouth and the damaged tissue every time I closed my eyes last night. He came over today and thanked me again for taking him . . . Made me cry.
Chloe finished poorly, but still managed to hang on to 11th Place.
We are all on the mend . . . and a warm Go TIGERS to All!!!

That’s awful. I didn’t know they would do that many at once anymore. I hope he recovers quickly and heals up. Man, I don’t know if I will get that out of my head.

You aren't kidding. I was visualizing it when I read it. Will definitely say a prayer for you both. All of you. Sounds like a set of dentures. If so, get the good ones.

Got the best they offered . . . He couldn’t leave until he put them in over all that trauma!!! Idiots!!!
He spit them out as soon as he got out. Bleeding stopped about 3 hrs later. The prednisone took away 60% of his facial, outer swelling over night. He is on antibiotics (Amoxicillin, maybe) and being a recovered (clean for over 4 years!!!) Oxy addict, all they offered him for pain was Tramadol. We know it’s imperative to wear the dentures asap to help the gums form into the correct shape, but it’s impossible to do at present. The dentures weren’t that expensive, if I have to get them to remake a set . . . SO BE IT!!!!!!!
And before anyone gets judgmental about my son being an oxy addict . . . you need to walk in his shoes before you judge!!! He turned local professional Mx Rider after winning his Amateur Classes for 4-5 years. A mid air collision on a 150’ downhill triple jump got him “awarded” OxyContin by our local Md . . . He was immediately hooked. He spent 1.5 years going through the Pain Clinic process to get off the mess . . . This included the use of Suboxone . . . The side effects of which are “ tooth decay, cavities, infections, and tooth loss, even if they'd never had dental problems before and kept up good dental hygiene”.
Something NO ONE WILL TELL YOU!!!
So an honest effort to get “Clean” cost him every tooth in his head and a very traumatic day!!! Not a one was worth “saving”.
You cannot imagine the joy I felt when he came to visit me today, held me dearly and thanked me for taking him . . . I promised him a few months from now we’ll smile and no teeth will ever hurt him again!!!
Love you all & thanks for praying!!! He is going to be a better man than me!!!

God Bless you Skeet for pouring your heart out and telling his story. He's one strong young man. Nothing but the highest respect for anyone that can kick that awful disease.

My boy sent Cyndy and I this picture tonight . . . He put them in for the first time, less than 24 hours after the trauma was inflicted . . . He is on the mend and grateful to those that prayed on his behalf!!!
I am blessed to have been entrusted with the joy of being his Dad.

wasn't. His addiction eventually caused him to die at 75 years old. To me, he died fifteen years before then.
Anyway, prayers for your son, dad and mom, and his family.

Skeet, I feel awful for suggesting you play golf while your son was going through that procedure. Obviously, I had no idea. God bless your son for getting through something most of us will never have to experience. I will keep your son in my prayers and know that this entire experience will only make him stronger.

On a day that appeared so bleak . . . You gave me a smile and a thought of good things to come.
We were never promised an “easy go” . . . Both of us will be better people and more in love with each other because of “that day”.
No worries, TigerLinks® , I knew you had no idea . . . we ARE good!!!

I had 1 molar pulled Wednesday. That was bad enough. He's more of a man than I am. Tell him that for me. I hope he's doing well.
