Shows me that Coach Swinney knows a little bit about recognizing talent! If you never read the story about Nolan and his family history with Dabo you need to do that. In fact, every one should read that story. Especially those who dislike our fabulous football coach. Nolan’s Dad played at Bama with Dabo.

No doubt Dabo can recognize talent and I did not have a problem with Nolan's offer. I will say Dabo has given out plenty of offers to friends and family which did not pan out so we should be honest when drawing a conclusion as Nolan is more the exception than the rule.

I can’t argue that point with you because I realize there are some who didn’t pan out .

Dabo gave the scholarship to Nolan on his fathers death bed. Worked out well for Nolan and Clemson.

I like to focus on the good things Go Tigersv

It's not like we offer kids that haven't played football or offer a 3* kid instead of a 4 or 5*.

A lot of us really believed that Nolan was given an ole friend scholarship, but Nolan really turned out to be a good FB player, but I'm sure he put in a lot of hard work to make it with Clemson FB!!!
