At what point to the narrative on Dabo Shift?

I remember when Dabo was the loveable, southern, underdog that made it, rags to riches football coach that everyone loved.... No he has become one of the most hated men in college football it seems...
Can you pin point when that narrative changed?

To sum it up.........you got people out there that don't like a goodie two shoes. And when that goodie two shoes disrupts the iron clad status of things... its shocking and looked at as a fluke. When that goodie two shoes does remarkable things at a remarkable rate for a long time.... people start to dig poke and pry to come to the conclusion that they are tired of this goodie two shoes. So they pick out every little single thing that is wrong with goody two shoes.
As soon as that goody two shoes slips up on something..... then the pile on begins to try to smother that person out of relevant existence.
In Dabo's case...he needed to remain consistent and successful with that consistency for things wouldn't have been so bad to handle adapt where he needed to and continue on being consistent and successful.
Now Dabo has got himself off that path that vaulted him up to eliteness by the decisions that he has made or not made....and now it is looking bad for him. Like I said earlier.... they're all piling on him to get him out of relevant existence in college football.

because he’s just so good and therefore everyone is out to get him.
This is perfect for his victim narrative.

Too much money involved to let a little school like Clemson do that to one of eSECpn’s favorites. The writing was on the wall. America wants to see Bama, Ohio State, etc. dominate. Not some little cow school. Enter the portal, NIL, 12 team playoff filled with SEC teams. All is well again. Just ask Paul Finebum.

I could see the big Boss Hogg hosses adjusting their collars and spiting out their bourbon when we won 44-16.
To further add more championships was just not what was supposed to happen. Case in point..... what defending football National Champion practices in a ballroom???????

The national narrative that Dabo is someone to be hated has been around the whole time, largely because of Dabo's outspoken Christianity. Most national media are either atheists or members of a certain religion that doesn't like Jesus.
The Clemson fan base narrative shifted when it became clear that other teams were scoring top players out of the portal but Dabo flatly refused to use it. And it's not just a "narrative." It is crystal clear now that Dabo is incredibly stubborn and arrogant, to the point of seriously harming the team's success.

It will change again when the country turns conservative again. Right now it's a liberal country we live in.

There were some that didn’t like the southern, good ole boy from the start, some that didn’t like his open faith. There are always some who don’t like anyone who becomes successful. The guy on top always has a target on his back. Most of those listed above were not Clemson fans. Now he has (mostly bandwagon) Clemson fans turning on him because the team is not playing well and they think they know more than he does. Add all these up and it has become a pretty noisy bunch.
