That what happens when you get rid of all your good players. This team is like the Florida Marlins about 10 years or so ago. Let their good players leave and replaced them with nobodies. Don't understand it.

They had to get rid of those " high priced" players to rebuild the farm system......

Lot of teams do that....

Braves farm system is second to none. Yet they never keep their talent. Outside chipper...
Who have they actually kept long term. Get used to 1-3 years then gone for the Braves. They are in it for the $$ not the wins.

And that's what happens when the ownership is not local but in Colorado. And who's sole purpose is to generate profit. As long as the Braves turn a profit they're happy. They couldn't care less about championships.

Just reported this week Braves lost $20 million last year

Colorado has nothing to do with it...Frank Wren's crazy contract extensions forced current GM to eat the salaries of Bourn & Swisher and now Olivera is about to cost us $8M more.

I knew we were going to be down s few years but was hoping we would still compete. Our new GM has done some moves that are questionable but at the same time he has stacked the cupboard in the minors. He is doing what the Royals have done recently. Not sure when we will start competing but hopefully it will be real soon.

Hey they should try to get some of those 41 guys to play on their team .
That would make it a lot better for them .
