4 Auby players not suspended for pot

I spoke with a LSU buddy of mine (who has many auburn friends) about the lack of discipline in the sec. I have argued that we lost the natty because of dabo caring about his players and helping them grow up into good men. My buddy talked with a auby friend of his about the 4 players who were not suspended, and his response was.....kids will be kids and at the end of the day, people only remember championships...conference and/or natties.....NOT, whether or not players were suspended or not. His auburn friend does make a good point. That is why, I hope the ncaa will make the playing field even for everyone by making the rules the same for all power conferences for disciplining players. Your thoughts?

The NCAA is gutless and corrupt. Increasing their presence would not "HELP" anything. Quite the opposite

1) McCullough, Cain, and Lakip being suspended and sent home is not the reason the Natty was lost, unless any of them played special teams on kickoffs. Special teams and Alexander getting injured (which led to the mistakes our less experienced guys made vs their TE) is why we lost, period. Deshaun broke National Championship records and had 405 yards passing vs Bama's defense, so I see no reason to think Cain being missing affected much...he seemed to hit other targets just fine. A FG kicker and a 2nd/3rd string TE also had no effect.

2) Of course an AU fan will say anything that means they don't lose 4 players for a big game. I wouldn't expect any less. Wonder what he thoughts were when Sammy Watkins was suspended against our opener vs Auburn in 2012? Bet his feelings weren't the same then as what he says of his own players now.
