That’s Brownell’s record in one possession games at Clemson. There’s your common denominator. He’s simply not good at managing end of game situations.

if you count all his close losses as wins - you'll finally see what a great coach he is.

Wow. I guessed 25% in 1 possession games and didn’t miss it much. The reason it seems like we’ve lost dozens of painful games in inexplicable ways is because we’ve lost dozens of games in inexplicable ways. Of course there is an explanation. CBB.

That’s a very telling stat. But they had a really good cushion, exact opposite of the way they closed out the last game.
