Shadow spent about 4 hours on nest yesterday. Wind was really gusty last night. Thought it was going to blow Jackie off the nest. She was hunkered down. I have never seen her sit on nest with wings not tucked in tightly.

rehab. I come home, and it is STILL raining on these eagles. Mother Nature does not discriminate, she rains on everybody.

It rained all night and is still raining as of right now. Jackie is soaked. Shadow has not showed up as of now. It is 11:30am. on nest. This is part of that weather system that caused NASCAR to move the race in L.A. from Sunday to Sat., and caused the last day of Pebble Beach golf tourney to be moved to Monday due to 60MPH winds. The wind on the nest last night was the worse I have seen on the nest.

But these eagles are not going to let anything keep them off the nest. I check them often during the day and late at night. It gets dark there at about 5:30 p.m. Pacific time.

I know there are other eagle nest cams but none are as interesting as this nest and none have the view. The nest is well known and has many followers. They talked about the nest last year on Fox news. Either Tucker or Hannity. Can't remember as I don't watch any TV except some sports.
