2015 vs 1981 thought experiment...

Let's pretend that we can adjust the 1981 team to be "current" to the modern game - on conditioning, speed, play-calling, offensive/defensive schemes, rule changes, and other huge differences from 1981 to 2015 - so that we had a mostly "fair" game between offense and defense.

Could our 1981 defense hold the 2015 offense to under 30 points? (I chose that number b/c 30 pts would have won every game against us that year except Wofford, Duke, and WF.)
I say yes.

Could our 1981 offense score 25 points on the 2015 defense? (I chose that number b/c 25 pts would have been enough for Louisville, FSU, and Our Lady to beat us).
I say no.

Did I get high with Kevin Mack at a party in 1981 at Calhoun Court?
Goddam right I did.
