But my definition of a bust is not living up to expectations set out for them, so long as those expectations are reasonable. So I will ask you this? Did 97 live up to the expectations you would have for the highest rated recruit in the state in his class?

Dec 6, 2012, 3:49 PM

Each prospect has certain expectations placed on them by the fans when they sign. Whether or not these expectations are met is what determines a bust/stud in the eyes of the fans. Am I right or wrong when saying that you expect more out of a 5* than a 4*, 4* than a 3* and so on?

But 4* and 5*'s are held to a higher standard. I expected more out of Goodman. Not so much sack numbers but general production. Getting pressure on the QB, not getting gashed on the ground, TFL's, tackles, etc.
