Comparing Cade to DJ is like comparing a Porsche RS2 to a Buick Roadmaster.

That was funny. DJ’s footwork (lazily throwing off his back leg and standing flat-footed in the pocket) was tough to watch. Was shocked when his stats popped up as 11/16 passing… he had taken so many hits in the pocket it felt way worse.

He definitely got more confident in the second half and threw several nice passes that were dropped which was really frustrating to watch (and I’m sure frustrating for him). Excited to see if the team can gel around him before Wake Forest. If not, Cade looked like he has no problem at all confidently leading the team. When you can confidently thread the needle to a Swinney, you are a great QB (and huge props to Drew for catching the pass)!

Go Tigers!
