Back when we hired Tommy, do any of you remember who some of the other candidates were for the job?

I believe Gary Patterson was interested then if I'm not mistaken but I know for a fact that we missed on Bob Stoops. He interviewed and wanted the job but we went with TB instead.

rumors began that Beamer was a contender. Don't know if it was a ploy by CU to get TB to commit, Beamer was using us for a raise or he really was under consideration. But Beamer was somehow involved.

I don't think Terry was ever in the picture. Tommy was top choice from day 1.

a good one;Just thought he reached his peak in 2003.After that, we were just delaying the inevitable.
On Tommy West and Hatfield, those hires should had never been made, IMO.
