VT is a football school and would be a home run fit for the SEC or Big Ten. They should have went SEC way before Missouri was invited. UVA on the other hand has many leadership issues along with fans and alumni who have their nose too far up in the air to be classified as football fans.

VT hasn't been a football school since they joined the ACC and couldn't win a national title before that. Not sure why anyone would think they could compete in the SEC.

the 11th most wins in the last 20 years. They did fall off more recently but still have one of the better fanbases in the country, nice recruiting grounds, and a proven ton of potential. VT has been down recently, but they still can be a good asset.

They have no fans and therefore no television value.

Really can't figure out why you can't get that.
