by -

Five-star Clemson cornerback commitment Fred Davis II received his US Army All-American Bowl jersey on Tuesday.

Davis can't wait to play in the game and then make his way to Clemson as a mid-year enrollee soon after.

“All the greats played in this game and I want to be next up,” Davis told 247Sports. “Clemson is going to keep on winning. It’s a family environment there and everybody is close and the coaches really care.”

Davis will be in San Antonio along with more Clemson commits in Bryan Bresee, Myles Murphy, DJ Uiagalelei, RJ Mickens and Paul Tchio, as well as 5-star target Justin Flowe.

The game will be played on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. on NBC.
