Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said during his Friday press conference that Clemson coaches and some assistants were involved in car accident on Thursday.

Marion HobbyMarion Hobby No one was hurt, and the car initially pulled over but then took off and Swinney said, "Alabama came out in me, and I said, 'Let's go get that sucker!' But Coach Hobby said it was best to stay put." Swinney wanted to track down the hit and run driver to get the tag number. The bizarre day didn't end there - the coaches wound up at a commit's house, and Swinney said it was while there that he fed grapes to the family's pet pig named Jules. Once they left Florida and flew back to Clemson, one of the tires on their plane exploded on landing and Swinney said the noise scared everybody on board. Once they de-planed, he said they noticed the tire was completed shredded and there was nothing but metal showing and the plane couldn't move. The coaches then had to walk over a mile back to their cars while the plane was towed. Productive week on the road recruiting. Now it's time to head back to Clemson for a week of bowl prep. and two assistants (Jeff Kallin, Zach Fulmer) were riding in a rented SUV in Orlando, FL, Thursday and he said that while he was on a phone call a dark colored car swerved and crashed into the SUV.
