From the Shelby Star:
“I really hadn’t talked much to them, we have to stay on schedule,” he said. “But I know that a lot of their guys on the offensive line are going to Clemson (one of the schools making a big push for Bullard), and I know some of them.” Going to the S.C. Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children was a humbling experience for all the Shrine Bowlers. “They showed us a lot of things,” said Bullard, “and we saw some of the children. It makes you really be grateful for the opportunity you have to do what you want, because they’d love to be out playing (football) too.”
There hasn’t been much time to get acquainted with any of the S.C. opposition either.
