Silver Bluff coach Al Lown has, but only from NFL-quality talent. “He’s probably the second-fastest kid I’ve ever coached next to Troy Williamson,” Lown said. “The speed is the No. 1 thing.” Williamson, whose career as an NFL wide receiver spanned five seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings, once struck fear in the hearts of Silver Bluff’s opponents. The same is expected out of Tankersley this year as the 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback returns for his senior season. “He’s got tremendous speed but also a pretty touch,” Lown said.
