Afterward, Bullard stood among a throng of media members wanting a recruiting update. As the nation’s No. 6 defensive end as ranked by scout.com and the No. 3 strongside defensive end according to rivals.com, Bullard was perhaps the highest-profile player in Saturday’s game who has yet to announce his college decision. Bullard has narrowed his choices to Clemson, South Carolina and Florida and is expected to announce his decision Wednesday. On Saturday, he said he was 70 percent sure of his choice. “I always take into consideration what my mom thinks, so I’m going to go home and see how she feels,” Bullard said. “If we’re on the same page, then we know where we’re going.”
Bullard, the 6-foot-4, 255-pound beast wearing his familiar No. 90, recorded two sacks (the only sacks for North Carolina), one quarterback hurry and three total tackles.
