Tyler Brown- diamond Peter Woods- as advertised TJ Parker- diamond (high four star but definitely five star material) Khalil Barnes- diamond Aveion Terrell- small sample size, but big time get Sheldon Lewis- underrated and will help us out as the season progresses Jay Haynes- underrated and looks explosive with the football
To have 7 true freshmen to have an early impact like the ones listed is amazing. This class is deep and I think will go down as one of the best classes we've had in recent memory.

Takes our coaches a year or two to make them 2/3 stars.

not to be a downer, but let's see how they develop. I do like this class very much though thus far.

Great observation. I think the impact covid had on high school recruiting has been vastly overlooked. Depending where they played HS football. Some kids had two years completely derailed. Not just games played - but coaching, training, everything. This is the first group of freshman to come in with (relatively) normal junior and senior years of football. They should be more ready to play than those the previous years who had at least one year screwed up by covid.

True on everyone you mentioned. Also,
Vic Burley Harris Sewell Stephiylan Green Jamal Anderson AJ Hoffler Olsen Patt Henry Zach Owens
These 7 have really high ceilings that we haven’t really seen yet.

Tyler Brown is electric. Can’t wait to see what he brings the rest of the season. Look out!

Honestly I have thought that it would be really nice to see Haynes as a change of pace back to Ship and Mafah. As he does look quick and explosive. But I have no clue his readiness level.

Another way is that if our highly touted recruits in the classes above them had developed as predicted, these freshmen wouldn’t be playing as much or standing out like they are.
Nonetheless, it’s great to see these freshmen doing well, albeit against subpar competition.

classes not developing. What a freaking idiot.
Possibilities include that previous classes developed well but were simply over-recruited in 2023. We don't always get 5* at DT, but we did this year, and if 5* Woods weren't playing in front of 4* Capeheart, it would be a surprise. Regardless, Capeheart IS developing and will be a factor next year after Tyler Davis and Ruke O are gone high in the draft. Payton Page the same.
It's also a possibility that in a top 15 previous class, we didn't hit on the guys we first wanted and ended up with a 2nd tier get that we were still happy with, or that the new kid brings a skill that is different than the previous kid. Brown getting time only means he's got speed that we don't have otherwise. Sure as heck doesn't mean Antonio Williams hasn't been an absolute monster for us at the slot.
And if you haven't noticed, Barnes was playing a lot only because Mukuba was hurt.
As to Terrell and Lewis, we got caught red-handed without any CB depth at all last year, and sorely paid for it. It specifically came close to costing us the Wake game, and in some sense could have cost us the USuCk game. Surely you agree then that even with Jones, Lukas, Pride, and Wiggins getting the majority of snaps, developing the youngest kids makes more sense than not. Especially if they're ready to actually play early in the season against non-ACC competition.
I've said it before, JK, but you've got major emotional problems. This may be one of your most incendiary, yet misguided, posts yet. You are one dark-souled person.

Sometimes HS kids do not develop.
Happens at every school. Even Uga and Ala.
You should be used to it as a CU hoops fan.

Good news is Dabo's system'll have them missing extra points, dropping balls, falling down at the one and blaming their teammates and position coaches for it in no time time.
I saw glimpses early last week and again late last night. He's really got 'em playing that soft n sloppy game we've all grown to enjoy watching from our stupidly-expensive seats.
Comin' together, Pepper!!
