seems like there are 3 possibilities: 1) mickey conn, despite what some would lead you to believe, is coaching these kids up 2) the gurus underestimated them out of high school 3) a combo of #1 and #2
i'm going with #3

Yes, giving that long ball up to the Biletnikoff winning Jeudy in the Natty will tarnish his career...
It's a good thing no one else got behind him all game long.

Watch the high camera on this and note after falling for the double move and being separated by 10 yards how quickly he got back on the receiver’s heels. He then stumbled and missed the tackle. Pretty good effort on a play he got burned on. He declined to fall over like his Achilles tendon was torn and needed a cart to get off the field.

Calhoun , I agree . I thought Muse showed exceptional athleticism to make up that much ground and almost bust up the play .
I'm pretty sure BV thinks he does a pretty dang good job or he wouldn't be playing so much .

Nolan Turner has been a #### of a surprise, and I'm convinced that his in game play has a lot to do with the passing of his dad, and he is putting the extra work doing what he believes would have made his dad proud....

The photo above is not bad coverage but a perfectly thrown pass.

The best recruited prospect moved to backer/nickel pos which in Venables system is basically a Safety but the you are right all the others are better than advertised out of HS testament to our coaching staff once we get em on campus

best safety that moved to the sam/nickel spot. He would have moved back if we needed him, but still...

Tanner still falls for the qb eyes a bit too much. Most of our comp it doesn’t matter because the qb doesn’t make the play. But he’s gotten a ton better and will next year.
The D that CBV plays puts a lot more on the safeties and communication than most D’s. You got to be smart and make snap decisions in CBV ‘s D...
Definitely a testament to their willingness to work and our coaching. Best in the bizz.

Tua is an open book for a safety. He looks at his read in the first second during his dropback then his eyes go straight to his primary according to what he reads. I have seen him go through a progression yet.

It’s more to it than just those players. Jordan leggett, Tankersley, van smith, Hunter Renfrow. All guys who were 3 stars or lower coming out of high school. Tankersley got a 4th star after the shrine bowl. Clemson coaches talent. They get the most out of there players.

Sorry just a typical fan.
Overall play this year was a pretty solid A ... A + vs the run, A - vs the pass.

K'Von is deff not a 3 star. He is a baller. Not the biggest guy but I would say id take him over Kearse, Johnson, or Green.

Greene would’ve been a stud at clemson had he stayed but switched to the pos and couldn’t pass on the nfl early on. Agree on Kearse a tad overrated athlestism got him there but never seem to improve imo

the new D line get..........our safeties will be good, and better, but their effectiveness will be dictated by the play of our line, IMHO.

back should make them better...hopefully. The back end will have to be stoudt this year as the front 7 will take a step back, although hopefully not much.

As mentioned amazed how TMuse scampered & made up distance just to miss shoving Jeudy.
