Hornets didn't win but we had a lot of fun. Our seats were fourteen rows up almost mid court. We sat around a lot of good people that were really into the game. We saw Minute Bol's son. He looks just like his father; tall and skinny. We were shown on the big screen before the game. MfOjr. commented "daddy, your BIG HEAD takes up the whole screen!!" I couldn't help but laugh. The only pro event he hasn't been to is a Carolina Hurricane's game. That's next. Just need to get some tickets.

These are great memories that MfOjr. will carry with him forever. My father took me to see the Sixers vs. Celtics at the Spectrum in Philadelphia for my first NBA game. It was 38 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday. That was during the Julius Erving and Larry Bird days, and it was awesome.

was fortunate to Michael Jordan play in Charlotte. It was his last year with the Bulls. I was like a kid in a candy store with $20!! That's exactly how I felt. It was surreal for me, after having watched those players on TV for so many years. Then, there I was a few rows up from courtside watching my favorite players. Dr. J was my favorite player, and then Charles Barkley after him.
I'm glad you were able to see MJ. I saw him much later in his career after he had moved on to the Wizards.

I went to the first Hornets game and most in the early years. I had a rich Clemson friend who had great seats. Actually, the first game was an exhibition and I won 6 front row seats in a 5K foot race they put on.
Years back I lost most interest in the NBA. It was before the political stuff, just lost interest, I can remember leaving a Hornets game at half time to see a good college game on TV.

One of my great memories was going to watch the Braves in their early years in Atlanta and saw Sandy Koufax pitch. Don’t know how my dad pulled it off but we were 10 rows up right behind home plate. Amazing to watch him pitch!
