This is an amazing run. Historic by our standards. He deserves more time of course. But we need to see consistency and we need to win something and be competitive in the ACC tourney.

I honestly thought he had taken the program as far as he could. If this is the start of a more consistent run then I’d be happy to say I was wrong. I did not expect this after the BC game so I was definitely wrong about this run.

I don’t think leadership has been the issue most fans have been concerned about. It’s been more Xs and Os and mind numbing losses that should not have been. Fortunately, for the most part, this has not been one of those years of which we hope to see consistently more in the future.

He has long been my favorite coach (as a person) but toward the end of this regular season I was starting to think it just wasn’t going to work out. If he can get his teams to the tournament and get the team fired up like this on a reasonably consistent basis, he should stay until he retires. I would have liked to have seen this kind of fight in the ACC tournament but that’s in the past. They’re on an amazing run now. I look forward to seeing how this translates to the next few years of teams.

I almost wonder if he had the team intentionally tank the ACCT to let them rest up a bit for the one that mattered. I’ll take an Elite 8 run over an ACC title every year.
I’ve been a big Brad supporter but I was ready to move on after last year. I am so glad Neff is AD instead of me!

Lets face reality, Brad's team should have been in the NCAA tourney last year.
There is no doubt about that. This year's team is in the elite 8, so the present
clemson basketball team looks very good. All of us brad doubters have to agree
with the direction now. But for all the loayalists, there were 12 years of complete
mediocrity. I am going to see the glass half full, and say keep brad and hope that the
last two years are the indicator of where we are.

Um no because as we sat post ACCT who thought this was coming? If I were to say hey who wants to put $1000 in this hat that we make the sweet 16 much less elite 8? No one would take that bet.
Now I’ll say I’m going to shut up next season. He’s at least pacified me for now. When you make an elite 8 uuuuh yeah that’ll do it. Now I’ll say this. Miss the next two tournaments and we will all be back.
But seriously the pro BB supporters need to stop acting like y’all called your shot and predicted this run. BB himself didn’t think this would happen post ACCT.
