Ruke Orhorhoro included Clemson in his top-four schools list on Tuesday.
Orhorhoro picked up an offer from the Tigers last month and called Clemson a "dream school" for him. "Coach Venables said he doesn't usually recruit guys this far away," he told TigerNet earlier this month, "but he likes my ability to move and the way my body is and that I am an excellent pass rusher and would fit in well with their defense. They also might be losing a lot of defensive linemen this year and if I come there I could be a key player and make an impact early.” "They (Clemson) have one of the highest graduation rates in the ACC, you can get a great education and of course they won the National Championship. They have a great coaching staff, and while I haven’t been down there I’ve been doing my research and it seems like a great place.” Orhorhoro also has Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky in the mix, noting Tuesday that his recruitment is still open. The Nigerian native played football for the first time last season and totaled 19 sacks, after playing basketball in high school previously. Other offers for him include Iowa, Boston College, Duke, Iowa State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, Pen State, Pittsburgh and Northwestern. Thank you for All the support throughout this process! I thank god for blessing me and taking me this far, after long talks and consideration with my coaches and family these are my top schools. *Recruitment Still Open* pic.twitter.com/Ul2ItPimQ5 MAN WHAT A DAY!
